I'm based out of Wyandotte, MI but make regular trips all over Metro Detroit. I’m also always up for a great adventure and am willing to travel provided costs are covered. Travel fees apply to any location more than 25 miles from 48192.
That's a definite yes! I know several amazing spots that play well with that magical lighting you see in my images. I can also help you decide if an in-home or studio session may be right for you.
I do! I realize that quality photography is an investment. I want everyone to be able to have gorgeous images on their walls and acknowledge that sometimes that only happens with careful financial planning. Once we do our consult and you have an idea of what you would like I can set you up on a personalized payment plan and break your payments up over the course of the next several weeks/months.
Yes — I carefully edit each image you receive to ensure consistency, natural tones, and a timeless look. I don’t over-edit or use heavy filters, but I do remove distractions like blemishes or background clutter as needed.
No stress here — I’ll send over a detailed style guide with color palettes, outfit tips, and inspiration for the whole family. I’m also happy to review your outfit choices beforehand to help you feel confident.
Golden hour. If we are shooting outside it is almost always going to be at golden hour. Those sun drenched images produce so much connection and emotion that you see the love in my pictures. Of course, we can shoot at other times if needed. In-home and newborn sessions are usually mid morning.
You may have noticed my sessions don't have time limits attached. This is because as a professional I know exactly what I'm looking for and how long it takes me to get a full gallery. There are times that I know I've struck gold and have all the images I need in 25 minutes. Other times, when little ones (or maybe dad) need some warming up or extra snuggles it may be an hour. Trust that I will get a beautiful selection of images for you to choose from!
Yes! I offer professional-quality prints, wall art, and heirloom albums designed to last for generations. You’ll have access to these options once your gallery is delivered.
Typical turn around time is 2-3 weeks. I will send you a sneak peek within 72 hours of your session, so you will get a little taste of what's to come! Your session photos will be delivered via a private online gallery, where you can download high-resolution files and order professional prints or products directly. The gallery will remain active for 30 days.
Yes! I was an elementary school teacher for 5 years and I have more than 20 years of experience working with children of all ages, backgrounds and abilities. Because my sessions are lifestyle and real, no need to worry if your child with autism can't sit still or doesn't want to look at the camera. We will create beautiful images that respect who they are as their natural selves.
You don't have to, but I highly recommend it. You are investing hundreds of dollars in this experience and I want your image quality to match that investment. If you do decide to print on your own, i highly suggest using a quality print shop like www.mpix.com or www.millerslab.com
Yes! I always offer mini sessions twice during the year. I offer Motherhood Minis every April/May and Christmas Minis every November. There could be other pop-up mini sessions offered during the year, so make sure to join my VIP group and/or subscribe to my newsletter below to get first dibs!
