All you need to do for your session is show up ready to have fun. Sessions typically last anywhere from 20 minutes to 90 minutes depending on the type of session you have booked. Longer sessions allow us the time and the slower pace needed to capture a complete gallery of storytelling images full of variety and real moments. Presence & connection will be our priority while I guide and direct you so your images authentically reflect this unique time of your life. As our time together approaches I'll reach out via email to discuss and start planning your wardrobe. You will receive a welcome guide and styling guide. Styling is very important to the overall look and feel of your images, so this step is key. I know it can be overwhelming, but trust me, I am here to help you all the way through.

Once a date and time is picked, you’ll receive the contract and invoice. The session is not booked until the contract is signed and the retainer is paid. Payment plans are available upon request.

I approach every session with patience and zero pressure—because real life makes for the most meaningful images. You don’t need to bring perfection, just yourselves.

I’m happy to serve clients in the SE Michigan areas of Wyandotte, Southgate, Riverview, Trenton, Woodhaven, Monroe, Gibraltar, Royal Oak, Dearborn, Taylor, Grosse Ile, Brownstown, and I love exploring new locations beyond! A Travel Fee applies to locations over 25 miles from 48192. If you're nearby or further out, don’t hesitate to reach out.
What is your vision for your photos? During our planning process we will discuss the backdrop you prefer. I have a list ready of favorite spots - Open park/prairie, forest, lake, urban or even your own home!
I typically wait until the evening before a morning session or mid-day for an evening session to reschedule due to rain. If it is raining or there is a high chance for rain, we will reschedule to a date that works for both of us.
Selecting your outfit is an essential step in capturing the vision and feeling you want your photos to convey. Once your session is booked, I’ll send a helpful Style Guide filled with friendly tips on choosing colors, textures, and outfits that reflect your authentic self. Begin by exploring your current wardrobe—you might find everything you need right there! And if you'd like a little extra input, I’m happy to review outfit photos and suggest what will help you feel your best and most genuine in front of the camera.
